Being a Molecular Biologist he is working relentlessly to put INDIA's best foot forward in this growing world
of competition. He proudly boosted India’s bid in the war of technologically developed nations, when he succeeded
by associating India in the International Initiative for Rice Genome Sequencing Project in the year 2000 along with USA, JAPAN,
China, South Korea, Taiwan, UK, Thailand, France & Brazil which once again led INDIA to be a part of International Solanaceae
Genome Network.
An agriculturist’s moral boosted when “Financial Express” in it’s “New Year :
New Challenges : New Agents of Change” category, nominated him as “Gen Next Changemeker, India’s
thought leader : promising another green revolution” in January’2006.
